Chris Brodnan seeks to enlighten, empower, and motivate individuals and organizations on the impact they can make in their work and community. She has more than 10 years of professional nonprofit experience in the education and youth development field in Atlanta. Chris served more than four years as the Regional Program Director at Horizons Atlanta, where she led and supported regional programming of the ten Horizons Atlanta sites in the metro area, ensuring program quality and fidelity. She transitioned into this role after serving as the Director at Horizons Atlanta at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, where she executed all aspects of the program site, from fundraising and development to managing teachers, volunteers, and advisory board members. Previously, Chris worked at the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Atlanta Civic Site, managing a portfolio of community stakeholders invested in improving educational outcomes for children. 

Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and a Master in Public Administration, with a focus in nonprofit management, from the University of Georgia. She is an active member of The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. and is preparing to serve a third term on the Board of Directors as President-Elect. She also sits on the Advisory Council of Neighborhood Nexus, a data intelligence nonprofit, and is active in her church’s community ministries. Chris lives with her husband and two young children in the Memorial Park neighborhood of Atlanta.
