The Atlanta United Community Fund (AUCF), in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Seek Proposals for GA100

The Atlanta United Community Fund (AUCF), in partnership with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), is launching the next phase of its statewide soccer mini-pitch program, with the goal of constructing up to 100 mini-pitches across Georgia:

  • Soccer Field Development: Construction of mini-pitches in under-resourced communities in Georgia to increase access to safe sports activities, specifically soccer, for youth across the state

  • Match Funding: The grant requires a minimum community local match (cash or in-kind donation) of one dollar for every AUCF dollar (1:1) of up to $100,000.

Focus:

  • To provide under-resourced communities in Georgia the financial and technical assistance to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of local mini-pitch soccer fields.

  • To develop mini-pitch soccer fields with input from local stakeholders that serve the needs of the community.

  • To build interest and excitement for the game of soccer across Georgia communities.
