Funmi has 25 years of experience in organizational development and philanthropic fundraising. She has spent the bulk of her career working to support organizations in the cause of achieving equity and justice for the underserved. She’s worked for both start-up and established organizations on the continent of Africa and in the United States.
Funmi is the founder of The Accelerator Project, a recently established nonprofit with the mission of providing capacity-building support for women and youth-serving community-based organizations in sub-Saharan Africa so they can achieve their goals.
Funmi has worked with: Historic Clayborn Temple, L.E.A.D. Center for Youth, ComfiArt, HD Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, African Women's Development Fund, UNDIVIDED, Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta and others.
