Sara Hernandez Evans, Consultant (She Her)

Sara Hernandez Evans brings years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management to her clients. Sara has been the Executive Director of organizations in the social services and arts/education sectors, and has had the privilege of working with organizations that advocate for children in the foster care system, refugees and immigrants, and homeless families with children.  She has a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and was a certified mediator for the juvenile court system in Tennessee. 

The skills gained in both of these educational experiences have proven valuable in working with vulnerable populations and with nonprofit staff and volunteers who are on the front lines of their helping professions.  Sara's favorite thing about fundraising is working with donors and volunteers who constantly inspire her with their courageous gifts of time and money.
