Saskia Benjamin
Senior Consultant
Saskia Benjamin has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a background in arts administration and city planning. Most recently she was the Executive Director of Art Papers for 11 years where she was responsible for the management of staff, programs, fundraising, event planning, strategic planning, and execution of mission. Other positions in the arts include Director of Institutional Advancement at the Atlanta Contemporary, and various roles at the High Museum of Art. Saskia has also worked in the environmental and planning communities as the Growth Management Program Manager at the Georgia Conservancy where she developed environmentally sound growth plans for communities around Georgia; and she worked at the Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development at Georgia Tech.
Saskia lives in the Old Fourth Ward in Atlanta with her husband and son. She recently rediscovered her love of travel and is passionate about the arts believing that vibrant arts communities create vibrant cities.
Saskia has worked with: Breakthrough Atlanta, High Museum of Art, Art Papers, Atlanta Contemporary, the Georgia Conservancy, Georgia Tech, and others.
