Tonja Khabir
Consultant
Tonja is a social entrepreneur with more than 10 years experience in management and philanthropy. She focuses on developing relationships, resources, and capacity for grassroots organizations and leaders in Central Georgia to enhance community impact and drive sustainable change. Tonja’s background in community extends to public health, youth development, and community organizing. As a public health specialist, she supported teams in East & Southern Africa, enhancing health and development in vulnerable communities with organizations like USAID, University of Western Cape and the International Organization for Migration.
Her experience with international development led her to found a non-profit, Two Hands International, to empower underrepresented youth in Central Georgia through international exposure and community engagement. Tonja is also a founding partner of Urbane: Young Black Professionals Network of Central Georgia.
Tonja has worked with: Macon-Bibb County Community Enhancement Authority, Pleasant Hill Neighborhood Organization, and Bike Walk Macon, to name a few.
