Xandy McKinley
Consultant
Xandy McKinley is a proud Caribbean-American social justice activist and resident of Washington DC. She brings over a decade of experience working in support of Black and other marginalized communities, through coaching on nonprofit management, healing practice, resource movement, and community organizing. As a passionate advocate for social and environmental justice, she is committed to resourcing grassroots movements that work in pursuit of solidarity, community, joy, and the protection of Mother Earth.
In addition to extensive experience with strategic planning, trauma-informed care, and financial empowerment, she also holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University and certifications in nonprofit management and racial healing.
When she's not at her desk, Xandy can be found honing her skills in West African Dance, repotting one of her plants, reading up on Afro-Indigenous healing practice, doing something outside with her dogs Cupid and Amalah, or watching adorable videos of her baby cousins.
Xandy has worked with: - Dreaming Out Loud, Black Dirt Farm Collective, Kataly Foundation, ASPIRE Afterschool, MOST Afterschool Network, and Heurich House Museum, among others.
