Doris Duke Foundation
The Performing Arts Technologies Lab is both a grant and a support system designed to expand access to and nurture new methods for creating, sharing and experiencing the performing arts. The Doris Duke Foundation (DDF) is looking for innovative ideas in jazz, contemporary dance and theater that make use of new digital tools and production methods.
Selected projects will proceed through a series of development phases, beginning with the articulation of a basic concept and culminating, for some proposals, in a fully funded implementation. Support will combine financial resources with technical assistance. Participants will be expected to participate in a series of virtual and in-person meetings that will be programmed to facilitate shared learning and exchange.

CREATE ACTION
The mission of CREATE ACTION is to amplify the efforts of local organizations through funding, storytelling, and collaboration with Sony. CREATE ACTION grants support organizations in the United States and Canada serving their local communities in areas such as STEAM/academic enrichment, workforce development, and nonprofit services for underserved and under-represented groups. One grant will be awarded each month through March 2023. Grantees will receive a $50,000 USD grant to continue and expand the organization's work, $50,000 USD in Sony electronics products to support their mission, and a Sony-produced short film telling the organization's story. Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status in the U.S. (excluding territories) and provincially and federally incorporated nonprofit organizations in Canada (excluding Quebec) who have received no more than $500,000 USD in annual donations per year for 2020 and 2021 are eligible to participate. The next three application deadlines are October 31, November 30, and December 31, 2022. Guidelines and the online application are available on the CREATE ACTION website.

Borealis Disability Inclusion Fund (DIF)
The Disability Inclusion Fund (DIF) at Borealis supports U.S. groups run by and for people with disabilities leading transformational change. Its principles and practices draw from the disability justice movement and aim to build power and a society that is free of ableism and other discriminatory barriers. The DIF is committed to disability justice movement-aligned funding including a participatory grantmaking process that involves members of the disability community to guide funding decisions.
The DIF is currently accepting applications for three-year grants to organizations working at the intersection of disability justice and technology.
